Our Patronal Festival

Our parish church was founded by St Aldhelm and dedicated to St John the Baptist. There are a couple of feast days for St John the Baptist - his birth is remembered on 24th June, his death is remembered on 29 August.

We keep our Patronal Festival on the Sunday nearest to the 24th June when we serve strawberries and cream with refreshments after the service.
