The Bennett Centre
The Bennett Centre is St John's Church Hall.
Over recent years it has been lovingly restored as funds have allowed, and we are pleased to be able to offer the communities of Frome and surrounding villages three meeting spaces:
Great Hall (capacity 80 seated, 100 unseated)
Cloister (capacity 40)
Randall Room (capacity 12)
A further meeting room – the Upper Room (capacity 12) – will be available once the restoration is complete and the internal lift has been installed.

New doors for the Bennett Centre!
We are delighted to announce that, thanks to a £10,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund, we have been able to install access-friendly, fully glazed external doors leading from the entrance courtyard into the lower part of the building.
The previous door was an ill-fitting, flimsy, narrow wooden ‘site style’ door with a draughty gap at the bottom and a step down into the courtyard.
The new doors have immediately made the building more accessible and improved security. In addition they have let much needed light into the cloister area, and, in conjunction with some associated work with the stone floor of the courtyard, access to the building is now level. The new doors will also keep the heat in and the cold out more effectively in winter.
